So the other day, during a random net-surfing session, I ended up finding something useful and fun. It was basically a prompt that went like this:
The dictionary atop your shelf has more than 200,00 words defined. Why don’t you blow off some of the dust in it’s cover and randomly pick out 10 words? Don’t look at the meanings; just concentrate on the words. Write down your words on a blank sheet of paper. Now you’re going to have fun creating meanings for those words. What do the words make you think of? What do you think they should mean?
And that’s how this post came into existence.
First of, I did genuinely had to go to my shelf and pull out one of this clever thing:
Anyways, I decided to have a guest on board to join me in, in trying to create meanings. Perhaps for some extra fun and to liven this place a bit!
Hence on the 28th of July, 2014, Sister of mine debuts on ToW!
So without further ado, here’s how it ended up:
Alright that was all of the fun! I hope you liked us trying out this nifty prompt because I sure enjoyed it. I know this was was a little different than the usual text-heavy posts. Just tried to make this more eye appealing. I’d appreciate your comments and any sort of feedback (maybe even a Hi?).
Like honestly, it is so encouraging to know someone reads my newbie blog and hopefully will keep on reading 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and until next time, tata!
P.S. I’m adding a new category titled “Prompts” so you’ll be sure to see me trying out more of these brilliant things later too!
